During
Burning Man 2000 these broadcasts were transmitted from CYBERBUSS at 88.3
FM. CYBERBUSS powered the entire week long broadcast via golf cart batteries
supplemented by solar power. What you are hearing is live and/or prerecorded
music mixing with all sorts of conversations on walkie-talkies that are
being picked up by the scanner. Some are aware that they are being broadcast
on the radio and some are not aware. Also, have to mention that with a
walkie-talkie and walk man you can man the radio station from miles from
the mother ship CYBERBUSS. As always total chaos and mayhem does prevail. C
